eyes trying to close i guess.


hey-lo. welp, whats been going on? not much... this is what we do all day basically.
in fact, its going on right now.

last night was the crazy thunderstorm that woke me up at 3 in the morning. it was so loud it caused all of the car alarms to go off and subsequently woke me up for the next few hours. good thing i had to work at 5:30... wait... what? thats not good at all! then i had to work 8 hours today and i was tired, and chelsea didnt show up for the shift she was supposed to cover so i was the drive register for 4 hours straight... it was nice, but i made it through the day ok, even though it was so hot today. the weather was super muggy... like that of illinois really. just hot and thick. probably why we had so many customers today. today was also the last week that my manager worked at my store. weird that she could just quit and get another job like that you know? its one of those things where i always think of a manager position as being more permanent i guess... but anyways, she got a manager job at polo ralph lauren in pismo. but im kinda glad that she is leaving actually... i had a hard time working with her sometimes, and she lives in the same apartment complex as me, which is weird... but not as weird if she worked elsewhere. but now i wonder whats going to happen to our store, because things can change dramatically when we get a new store manager. but whatever, im not too worried. work has actually been kinda fun lately... i am really funny at work for some reason. i keep telling everyone my stories and they laugh like they are the funniest thing ever. even cava laughed and the "ka-KA!" story. oh thats a good one... and despite the fact that im getting less sleep as the days go by, i somehow am not that tired at work lately. so hooray for that!

oh what else? well, i like guitar hero. and kingdom hearts. kingdom hearts is actually fun now that ive got magic and are more advanced and stuff... i hate going through those beginning stages of building your characters up. and donald and goofy and an amazing back up... seriously. unlike most rpgs where you have lame back up characters, these two are actually really good at helping you out and working as a team. and they come in and the best times with cure spells and potions and they also learned my style of fighting too so they tailor to what i would start with. i like that donald learned that i like to attack multiple enemies with thunder at the start to get rid of the weak ones and that i leave the big guys for last. and im also glad that donald learned mp regeneration abilities because now i dont have to worry about him wasting all of his mp on some stupid aero or gravity spell for a battle against some measly heartless soldiers. and goofy always seems to attack those annoying ice/fire/thunder enemies for me on the outskirts... i hate those guys so much. im glad that i can rely on him to take care of them. plus i like all the guess players, like tarzan and aladdin... and cameo appearances from final fantasy characters like cloud and leon, its pretty cool i guess. oh and i like the summons too! they are done really well... even if it is bambi prancing around me while i whack enemies around with an oversized keyblade.

people have been coming over everyday abouts now. its kinda fun... but kinda not. whats nice though is that with my schedule, i get off so early, i still get the house to myself for a couple of hours while everyone else is at work. today a bunch of people were over this morning and ate pancakes. with my pancake mix! those jerks... oh well. i guess kaitlyn and amy are coming over tomorrow and mark is actually trying to go to sleep on the couch right now.

i put up a coat rack by the front door and put all of my sweatshirts on it. they are red, maroon, blue, yellow, gray, brown and black. i like it a lot. really i do. now if only my posters would stay on the wall... that would be good.

hmm... oh i got my copy of true vol. 2 today. funny that i am kind of an author i guess... well, a story is written about me rather. thats kinda fun. i also started making a photo book this week and i got it published today on this website. i should be getting a copy in 7 to 10 business days and if its of a nice quality, maybe ill make more and put up a link where people can get it. its just a simple little photo book of pictures from russia that i have never really done anything with. im kind of excited to have a copy in my hands though. if they are nice, im thinking about making a portfolio. the software is pretty user friendly and has some nice quality for how i would want it to look as well. i guess ive just been creative like that lately.

i requested 3 days off next week to see damien jurado and okkervil river in la, but i guess the show sold out already... sucks, but thats good anyways, since i probably shouldnt be spending money and the tickets plus gas down there would be a lot. but now i dont know what im going to do. ill probably just sell a bunch of stuff on ebay those days i guess. conor and hannahs wedding is also next week which i am excited about. im really just glad to be seeing them i guess... haha.

i have a lot of money stuff due in the next few weeks too and dont really know if ill have enough to do so, but i get paid next friday so im not too worried. but a part of me wonders if ill be able to really do anything as it seems like the cost of living here is becoming something that i dont know if i can afford.

i really need to get that second job.
